To the Officers and Brethren of Toronto West District,

It is my great honour to serve as the Grand Master’s representative for Toronto West District. I consider it a great privilege to be the custodian of this office for this Masonic year. The encouraging conversations, phone calls, texts and emails from the Brethren across our district were greatly appreciated. They have bolstered my resolve as we begin a new year where your continued support will be essential to our enduring work. I am pleased to introduce the District Secretary, W. Bro. Jeff Irons who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition into our new roles. His dedication and attention to detail are truly commendable. He is an asset to the district leadership team and the brotherhood.

As we return to our labours, I would like to acknowledge exemplary job done by PDDGM R.W. Bro.Matwinder Phull and past District Secretary V.W. Bro. John Dorris. I wish V.W. Bro. John Dorris continued success as he transitions into his new role as Grand Steward. Please join me in offering heartfelt congratulations to V.W. Bro. Allan Cunnington, V.W. Bro. John Dorris and V.W. Bro. David Scott on their appointments as Grand Lodge Officers. Their commitment and service to their lodges and our district is greatly appreciated. Our district has selected the Meningitis Foundation Canada as the benefactor of our charitable endeavors this year.

This summer, we were saddened to learn that on July 21, 2025, our Past Grand Master M.W. Bro. Ronald E. Groshaw laid down his working tools and ascended to the Grand Lodge above.
We mourn his loss and cherish his memory.
